let’s laugh at the sun…
life in missoula as i know it…i am living in missou-sou, montana with the nickel family…kathi, barclay and charlotte. they are a wonderfully giving family and i couldn’t have landed a better home. i wake up, i make green tea, i take my vitamins, i sit on the front porch in the chill and the warmth of the sun, i go for a run down by the river and then walk luna, i shower and hit the road on my bike to work. busy hands fun center…it’s a job. i work the 12:30-5:30 shift throughout the week, wrangling kids, 18 months-12 years. most nights i have rehearsal for south pacific. it’s good…i am meeting people around the city and participating in my first community show. it’s getting cold here…this morning it was 35 degrees…this montana winter is going to kick my georgia girl ass. i bought some cute winter-ish boots from old navy trying to prepare for what was to come and kathi just laughed when she saw them…she knew they wouldn’t do any good at all…boo. this summer on tour has made me addicted to coffee…or rather just something warm in the morning. i wake up and i simply have to have a cup of coffee or a steaming cup of tea. it’s good…it makes me feel a little more grown up.
